  1. How do I register for an MyDosti account?

    From our Registration page, just provide us with your full name, email address, desired password and the requested details. After you complete the registration form, we will send an email to the address you provided confirming the completion of the sign up process.

    What are the reasons I can't log into MyDosti?


  2. Wrong email address or password.

    Maybe you switched to a new computer and you haven't actually entered your MyDosti password for years. If you forgot your password, click the Forgot Password link from the MYDOSTI.COM homepage.

  3. You've been surfing all over town.

    It may be time to clear your cache, cookies, and temporary internet files. For instructions on how to do so with various browsers, click here.

  4. You switched to a new browser.

    MyDosti works best with Internet Explorer 7.0 or later, or Firefox 3.0 or later. For Mac users, we recommend Firefox 3.0 or later or Apple Safari.

  5. MyDosti is getting blocked by your home or office firewall.

    Go to the Control Panel on your computer and temporarily disable the firewall. Then try to log in again. Don't forget to re-enable the firewall once you're logged in.

  6. Your profile was deleted by MyDosti.

    If you've violated our terms of use by posting illegal, obscene, or abusive content, for example, we had to delete your profile.

  7. Your profile was deleted by a third party.

    If you've shared your private password with too many semi-friends, they may have used it to delete your profile. Same goes if you logged into MyDosti from a friend's house, Internet cafe, school, or library.

  8. MyDosti is temporarily down.

    Sometimes bad bugs happen to good social networks. Check the help blog to find out if we're down with a nasty bug or maybe launching a new feature that's got us slightly fashizzled. We'll keep you posted on what's going on and when it will be fixed.

  9. You've logged in too many times.

    If you've tried to log in with the wrong email or password too many times, you'll need to sit it out for 15 minutes before you try again. It's for your own safety and security.

  10. None of the above.

    Contact the MyDosti team. We'll check it out and try our best to get back to you within 48 hours.
